We live less than a mile from the tower used by Verizonwireless near Keeler Road, north of Brookville. We get a steady at home but marginal service when we drop into Brookville. It seems as long as you are within a couple of miles of Brookville and on the highlands the signal is decent. I also heard that Verizon recently added service on another tower nearby, but by experience I can't confirm that yet. Also, Cincinnati Bells coverage maps tell me roaming calls can be placed in Brookville. Cincinnati Bell tells me it's on a Cingular system. Cingular tells me they have no service out here. What's up,,and I don't mean cell towers! We really need cmopetition!

I have Cincinnati Bell Wireless GSM which is the closest tower according to your tower locations. It works great in most of my house, down in the valley below my house most of the time and on my 15 acres. It also works in the Federal Building in downtown Cincinnati. No other carries work as well in this area. I chose Verizon on the list because Cincinnati Bell Wireless was not listed (too small of a carrier? and Cingular and Cincinnati Bell do not have agreements for all of the towers in the Greater Cincinnati area which this area is still considered that for cell phone purposes for these providers) I had Verizon for years and the "can you hear me now" person came out and determined that we were a fringe area and at that time (2003) no more towers would be built between St. Leon and Batesville and that the phone picked up the weaker Sprint tower (an agreement with Verizon). However, I expect that all of this will change now that Honda is building the plant in Greensburg so hopefully this site will continue provide everyone in the area with the great information on tower locations.
