I live in Village Farms Subdivision. I have great reception and can even make and receive calls in my basement that has no windows. Verizon is the best. I used to have Cingular which is now AT&T and I had to go to the window above my kitchen sink and stand on my head with my right forefinger in my nose just to make a call.

'More bars in more areas.' I've never had a problem getting bars. I usually have 5 bars... until I try to actually make a call. Then, it drops to like 2. That said, I don't have an issue with dropped calls other than in specific dead zones (126th and 131st between Keystone and Hazel Dell, Gray Rd between 126th and 131st). With my old Nokias on Cingular, I never ever had a reception problem. Motorolas though are cute, but suck as actual phones. My girlfriend has Sprint and I beg her to drop them. Her phone doesn't work from our apartment. I can send her a text and she'll get it anytime from 10 minutes later to hours later (or days in some cases). I have similar issues with other Sprint customers, but no issues with other AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile customers. She had a really old phone that had issues, so she picked up a brand new Samsung Rant yesterday... and still can't use her phone reliably from our apartment. I have no issues whatsoever with my AT&T plan. My experiences, in general, is that Sprint has really patchy coverage in and around Indianapolis. I've always been happy with AT&T (though not always with Motorola).

Checked out this site. Having dropped calls lousy reception, but only around my home (?) Otherwise, Verizon is excellent! 4-5 bars in Carmel, except around 141st and Springmill Rd.

Terrible in the neighborhoods along 126th street between Keystone and Hazel Dell. Drops every time on 126th street on small dips in road. Ridiculous. After 13 years with one company, I am done.
