Constantly dropping calls and very unstable signals. No reception at all in most part of my apartment. Decided to switch to Verizon.

At my home my coverage is good. At times it fluctuates in and out as I am just sitting on my couch. But, none-the-less its acceptable.

Constant dropped calls, poor reception. HATE this service and will be making the switch. Can't even use the phone 9 times out of 10 in my home!

I think I'm the only one from reading all the comments, but I've had good luck with Nextel. I don't like their phones in terms of style and convenient features and wish they would offer more models that didn't weigh 5 lbs. each, but in terms of coverage and stability of service, I have no complaints.

Cingular service continually "drifts" in and out. For being such a "progressive city", Columbus' cell coverage sucks. I watch my signal strength variation and it sometimes goes from 5 to 1 bars in "good" areas. I am sure this is not a phone issue - we have 5 of them differing models. The 3595 appears to be the no frills best option. I am really frustrated with cell service - sounds like we are talking into a fan and getting every 5th syllable... Good Luck - they all suck here...

We are constantly having dropped calls. This is for 4 phones. Verizon said they would put in for a tower closeby, but never followed through. We have dropped calls when traveling on I65 in this area. We are looking for another carrier.

Dropped calls - dead spots in calls - no service - yet I am told this is a good coverage area.

I bought into Sprint back when they were the first to offer free nationwide. Their signal has ALWAYS been weak, and I've owned the current phone with them for over a year--it sucks. Coverage has only gotten marginally better in my near 3 years with Sprint. Looking to move to Cingular (coverage) and pick up a Sony Ericsson T610. But I heard that those phones aren't doing well with the Cingular towers in Southern Indiana. If so, I'm just cursed!
