Verizon 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: LG VX-10	Spotty or no coverage from Converse to within 5-6 miles of Peru. There is a tower in Converse and another one 10 miles northwest (just off of 19) but obviously Verizon doesn't (or can't) use them.

Verizon 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola StarTac 7868	Sometimes we're lucky to get that 1-bar. Verizon has said they will be get a tower up somewhere around Sweetser or Converse, but who knows when. Centennial went on to a tower just east of Converse, but VZW refuses to co-locate on that same tower for some reason.
