There is little to no reception for any AT&T users in downtown Evansville since the nearby tower was removed 8 months ago. Does anyone know when it will be replaced?

I go from 1 bar to 0 bars to no service regularly with an occasional 5 bars for no apparent reason. Dropped calls are common and messages from missed calls and the phone never ringing happen 2 or more times a week. I loved Cingular. I do not care for At&t

AT&T changed frequency for a number of 2G phones in the Evansville area. I could not get good reception at my house without having to go outside.

Average 2-3 bars upstairs in my home, 1-2 bars downstairs. Lots of dropped calls too, but it may be my Motorola V551 to blame.

I have had every wireless carrier in Evansville. It is truely amazing how much better Cingular is than ALL the rest. Their GSM network is incredible. I had their TDMA too and it was great. It works better than any other carrier in the Toyota plant in Princeton, IN also. You can hold a call all the way down I64 to Louisville. I also travel alot all over West KY... wonderful, Paducah / Bowling Green / Owensboro / Madisonville / Henderson... perfect. Now since they have purchased AT&T they have opened up Southern ILL / Carbondale and Norh East Missouri to Cingular customers. There is no doubt no one can touch Cingular in the tri-state. I have been told in the Evansville area they have a 56% market share. I can see why.

Travel all over Evansville area with no reception problems. Always 90-100% signal strength. Used to have Sprint in Evansville, voice quality terrible. AT&T (GSM) has been GREAT. I-64 from Evansville to Louisville, KY also very good signal strength.
