Indoor signals are not the greatest, this was an indoor signal. Outdoor signals are much better.

Verizon is great, as long as you don't live in Petersburg Place. Really, it is just a bad area with bad recetion. I had Sprint before this and had the same problem. I could blame it on the airport... but as soon as you get on 41 or 57... RIGHT by the airport, it is better. So who knows why.

I have had every wireless carrier in Evansville. It is truely amazing how much better Cingular is than ALL the rest. Their GSM network is incredible. I had their TDMA too and it was great. It works better than any other carrier in the Toyota plant in Princeton, IN also. You can hold a call all the way down I64 to Louisville. I also travel alot all over West KY... wonderful, Paducah / Bowling Green / Owensboro / Madisonville / Henderson... perfect. Now since they have purchased AT&T they have opened up Southern ILL / Carbondale and Norh East Missouri to Cingular customers. There is no doubt no one can touch Cingular in the tri-state. I have been told in the Evansville area they have a 56% market share. I can see why.

Such a tremendous disappointment. No surprise,I guess as this company has no towers (that I know of) in the area or even remotely close. I get lousy reception in my residence,1 - 2,bars and in my bedroom it is the worst. It can go from 1 to 0 (or drop the call entirely) at any given moment. To talk for long periods,I have to move to another spot in the house and even then the signal is usually 2 bars at best. If I am away from the area, grocery shopping or what have you,the signal strength improves, sometimes to a full 5 bars. If it weren't for the fact my current plan is so affordable I would have canceled it months ago.

Reception is poor, not that it matters either way with Sprint, the customer service is the worst I have ever had to deal with, ever since the merger with Nextel it is REALLY bad.

I previously had Sprint and that was a joke. Sprint is constantly dropped calls. Cingular seems to do well in my area. But sometimes even my friends on Cingular don't do well. Verizon is by far the best. You get what you pay for.
