When it comes to coverage Verizon is the best. When it comes to contracts / pricing they are over priced. When it comes to customer service they are just OK.

Traveled from the South East coast to the Midwest then back up to the North East and never had a problem with reception or dropped calls. Am very satisfied with the service.

The service is actually Centennial Wireless formerly Cellular One. I have better reception than any other carrier in all of Northern Indiana! Had prepaid Virgin Mobile, sucked; Verizon, dropped calls all the time; Nextel, sucked; and US Cellular, barely had service! None of them are even close to Centennial Wireless's coverage, customer service, or reliability!

Recently moved to Indiana from Michigan - had Alltel there - service was EXCELLENT always. Had to switch service when moved here - switched to T-Mobile. Service is HORRIBLE!! Even though I get 5 bars, I can't receive calls even in areas I can make calls from. Was assured that the specific areas I needed service were good receiving areas - those particular areas I get NO service at all! Don't like being lied to be the salesman. When I've tried to discuss this, am told to call "Customer Care" and will get someone who tells me that tech service will call me back is 1-1 / 2 to 2 hours - then never does! I'm looking for a new carrier, and will just have to eat the rest of my contract. I would not recommend T-Mobile to anyone who actually wants a service they can use.

Had Sprint and a VI-2300 phone. 2-3 bars max if lucky both inside and outside. Switched to Alltell and a Motorola v265 phone-the same phone used by Verizon as well I think. PERFECT signal 5-6 bars both inside and outside of the house.

Was previously with Verizon and could not get a signal in certain parts of the building. TMO signal is great all over the building. There is at least one dead spot along U.S. 24 (inside Lutheran Hospital, I believe they have a CDMA cell site in the building for Sprint) in the city but coverage is overall quite good. TMO only has two "towers" in the city that I have been able to find.

Live Downtown and reception is wonderful. Never any problem with making or receving calls, or using the internet!

I get great service on the northwest side of Fort Wayne. I never have dropped calls and my internet (as well as navigation, pandora, etc.) work perfectly. I work in Noble County and when I am out on the country roads my service does become a lot less reliable but I had the same problem with Verizon.
