	Service is excellent in and around a 1 mile radius of Loogootee. Cingular has 1 tower just to the east of the city, however service is non-existent from about 3 miles south of Loogootee until you get to just north of Jasper. Same applies for US 231 from about 2 miles north of Loogootee until you get to Around Farlen. There is a tower east of Farlen, however its range is poor as service is poor on the Crane base and points north and south of Farlen. Cingular finally installed a tower in Montgomery, so service is great between Loogootee and Washington.
