Tower is just west of US 31 and Hwy. 14 which provides good coverage for Rochester. Western edge of county is spotty due to the end of the area for US Cellular. Akron area is spotty also due to rural area and lack of a tower. Otherwise I have had great coverage in Rochester and along US 31.

I use the TracFone cell phone company and was using a Motoroloa v60i phone and the reception was fantastic no matter where I went. And I do mean no matter where I went too! This particular phone used the TDMA technology and the carrier I had that used this TDMA technology was Centinnial and Cingular and the reception coverage was great with 5 bars showing per near all the time. TracFone had to switch me to another phone since all carriers done away with the TDMA technology and is now relying on CDMA and GSM technology now, and as for the CDMA which is the technology carriers use most with TracFone with in my coverage area, the reception is not near what it was because the CDMA technology used a different carrier. They switched me to an LG phone now which uses the CDMA technology from the Motoroloa that used the TDMA and my carrier now is US Cellular and I only have one bar showing most times with two bars if I'm lucky and sometimes no bars showing giving me dropped calls, but my reception is so poor to no reception now all the time. TracFone is not wanting to do anything about this saying; "the coverage should be ok in my area with US Cellular and this CDMA phone and there isn't anything we can do about it". So, I'm fighting dropped calls to very poor reception all the time now with this LG phone and US Cellular carrier. However, there is something they can do about this if only they would. They could provide me with a different type of phone using a different carrier since there are other carriers all over with in and around my area, but they are not wanting to do anything and saying; "my reception should be just fine", but it isn't and I don't know what to do except to go to a regular cell phone service plan with a carrier instead of a 'pay as you go' type of service, but I'm disabled and only try and live on my disability and can't afford a monthly payment plan is the thing. So, I'm kind of up the creek with out a cell phone. Just isn't right! My coverage was great with the Motoroloa using the TDMA technology with the Centennial Carrier but TDMA is no more and now with this LG phone using the CDMA and the US Cellular carrier my reception and coverage is awful, however, there are other phones and there is still the Centennial Carrier that I could use that would utilize still the CDMA technology, but I'm getting no help with my poor reception and dropped calls now with TracFone stating; " I should be ok". But I'm not! I've faught with TracFone for 6 months with problems and their Support and Customer Service is terrible! But that's my cell phone coverage reception story in a bucket! They could help me if they wanted too! Just isn't right by no means!
