I have to walk outside to use phone. They said when 4g addition was done Nov. 2011 it would be ok. Its 2012. My daughter's AT&T works fine. Looks like they will get a new customer.

Terrible service.

I get little to no reception where I live. AT&T always tell us, they are upgrading the towers. I use to get better service with crappier phones. The upgrades they are doing, is lowering the quality of service. I am less then 3 mile from a tower.

I live less then 6 miles from an AT&T tower. I have to walk around inside as well as outside my home to get reception. I drop calls quite frequently. Out of the 3 different types of phone we have through AT&T, I get the best reception. We even drop calls to AT&T Customer Care, when we call them.

Pretty solid reception around the area, there are weak spots inside the house, but overall good performance.

Extremely poor reception. Verizon has been totally un-responsive after several calls to look into this problem over the last 4 years. Woodgate sub division.

Reception is generally good. Driving into the neighborhood will sometimes drop calls. Text messages go through fine. Blackberry has 3 bars, Samsung 2 bars but reception is ok

Drop 90% of calls within my house. Reception is better in yard, but still drop a call occassionally. This is my 3rd phone this year. All models are the same in my location. Very poor.

Just switched to Verizon yesterday and dropped 4 calls so far. Sometimes will get one bar in my house. I was told that Verizon was the best service in Terre Haute but I got great reception with AT&T. Should have stayed with AT&T.

no bar at home. what a nightmare. wanna switch to some other carrier but which one? thats the question.

I also have Edge! Yay! T-Mobile has gotten better and better over the years!

Dont know what it is, but for 2-3 miles by the State Police post you won't have any signal. Except for there, the coverage is great. Too bad I live near the post.

Might get 2 or 3 bars on the highway, but loose all reception only 1.5 miles north of the the highway.

Reception is 3 bars and signal is frequently dropped during use.

Tower located in Sandcut. Almost always have great service.

I've had Sprint for the past 3 years and cell phone reception has always been good, everywhere but home. I'm on Verizon now and I don't have a single problem with it. Even after the Nextel merger, Sprint sucked out here (on a Sanyo 8100) but theres no problem anymore.

Verizon coverage is average in Terre Haute. I get service at my apartment in Village Quarter which says a lot over my roommate who has Cingular. He is constantly dropping calls, I drop a few times a month. Service inside the city is excellent and there is plenty of Verizon coverage on Rose's campus. Probably the best carrier for the area.

T-mobile has no reception on top of a college campus, what the deal? They even have a kiosk / building 2 miles down the road, but crappy service in many places.

Cingular service in TH is just ok for me. At my house last year, I would have NO SERVICE WHATSOEVER. In the past few months, I have had all 5 bars at my house, it happened like magic! On campus, I usually have average service. Overall, I am satisfied with Cingular in TH.
