Verizon 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Samsung SCH-A670	Most of Vigo County and Terre Haute are excellent with Verizon Wireless, but when you get North and West of St. Mary of the Woods there are many pockets of poor or no reception. Green Valley, Sandford, New Goshen, Shirkieville, Libertyville and Shepardsville areas. You can walk 20-30 feet on level ground and your signal can go between 3 bars down to zero. This seems to be a problem for friends using other cell companies in these areas too. I have never lost signal within Terre Haute, West Terre Haute or any of the college campuses.

AT&T 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola RAZR V3	Through several phones, the cellphone reception at my house is awful. I imagine that my house itself is a dead spot; moving just twenty yards away from my house yeilds a bar of signal. In any case, everything immediately to the south of I-70 is poor reception.
