I tried to do a lot of research before finally trying a cell provider and went with alltel. Comparing lines from family members they seemed to get the best reviews. Overall, the signal is very strong throughout the city. It doesn't seem to drop off too bad indoors which was a big complaint my brother had with Sprint. Even up around Ft. Riley it seems to do well. Overall I would recommend Alltel to others. Plans are decent also compared to others with their unlimited calling to the circle.
Verizon gets pretty good reception in town in Junction City and Abilene. Not in certain buildings though. I don't get hardly any service at Milford Lake though. Does ANYONE???
My wife travels to south dakota, wichita kansas, eastern kansas and evaerywhere in between. We also travel to colorado and other surrounding states. I think with any phone you will have problems in buildings, other than that the only place we have problems are in some low areas.
sprint works great for if you are on I 70 and major citys but if you are off the beaten path then hang it up you either roam or no signal at all I would never use Sprint again cause well they tend to mess you over
