Alltel 4 Out of 5	Although I don't live in Kansas City I visit the KU Med campus on occasion and have decent service with Alltel in that area and any other area I visit in Kansas City. have never had a dropped call and the reception is pretty clear. as I believe most of the towers there are contracted through Verizon I would suspect their service to be good as well. I'm thinking of switching to Verizon soon for their 3G services. we'll see.

Verizon 2 Out of 5 Phone Model: star tac digital	Searches for signal and switches between digital and analog / has been weak in this location for at least 2 years. However, this is the only place from San Francisco to South Padre Island that Verizon has ever been weak for me. I don't remember the last time I've dropped a call.
