When I am doing this review I am not only looking at Ottawa but also traveling outside of town. I always had a Sanyo cause the signal was untouchable in comparison to the other phones that Sprint offers. Even with the strongest signal I was constantly dropping calls everywhere. If you are in roam you can call but all text and internet is not accessible. I would be sitting anywhere turn and loose signal. If you are outside they will guarantee signal in a major town, on the highway forget it or in a house same deal. There plans are also very hard to learn, there are a lot of fine prints and oh yeah somebody should have told you items. Such as Free Roaming (only if it is half of your anytime minutes over half and it is.40 to.50 per min) internet with no plan bills per kilobyte (which it takes a lot even for a couple minutes). I say this is a NO GO but if this is your choice best of luck!

I love this company, but wish that I had better phones! I am a cell phone fanatic I have been through t-Mobile for about 4 months now and never want to leave cause of the excellent coverage. I only loose signal on 59 and 68 for about a second until I get to the next major town. I have also had about 5 or 6 different phones that I have tried out, all of their signals are great. But I love the menu on Sanyo's and they offer Samsung, Motorola, Nokia, Sidekick, and other PDA style phones... .
