Reception is generally poor in NW Reno Co., the problem is not just with Alltel although it seems that I have more dropped calls with Alltel than with my work cell phone (Cellular One now US Cellular). Last fall, Alltel has trouble with one of their towers, instead of fixing it they tried to blame their customers. The lack of coverage isn't as bad as the poor service. If you enjoy long lines, surley employees and ill-maintained equipment, then by all means sign up. Otherwise, two tin cans with string are about as reliable as Alltel.
