Virgin Mobile uses the godawful Sprint network. It's rare that I don't drop a call or have the person I'm talking to complain that I keep cutting out real bad. Sprint--blech!
well, my wife and I are cell only phone users and just found the perfect house to move in a month and while driving around the neighborhood found that there is Little to NO coverage from at&t / Cingular in this area. we went from 4 bars to none / one in a matter of blocks. surely this can be fixed???
My service with ATT was excellent and I have had no worse service since it merged with Cingular. Certain phone models are very poor in this area. I previously had a SE T616 and only had 1-2 bars max. My husband has a Nokia 6800 and always has 4-5 bars. I switched to a Motorola V505 and always have 4-5 bars in my home and around the entire KC area!
Since I've switched to Cingular, my reception has been, on the average, four bars. First time I've actually gotten all the bars, which has never happened with my old carrier.
It isn't the poor reception I get with AT&T, it is the terrible, the very worst, customer service which is making me drop AT&T and going to another carrier. Because of less than good service and terrible customer service, it is no wonder that AT&T is losing more customers than other carriers.
The service in and around my house is very poor. I get 1-2 bars if I am lucky. However, if I go anywhere else I have 4-5 bars except if I am in buildings then I have no service.
