I was a bit nervous about switching from AT&T (which always had outstanding reception, even out in the sticks) to T-Mobile's service, but where I live (along 24 / 40 in Tongie), the service has always been nearly perfect. Except for in larger metal buildings, in which you have about a 50 / 50 chance of getting a signal. But, in my house and others' houses around the Tongie area, I can always make and receive calls with no problem. I will mention that I have a Pre-paid phone from T-Mobile (Nokia 1208), but I haven't had any problems making and receiving calls, compared to friends of mine who have standard cell phone service.

I've tried all different types of cellular phones and companies in Tonganoxie, only Cingular gives me uniform good reception out here. Sometimes drops to 3 bars when inside.
