I have had cingular, cellular one and Sprint. Sprint seems to have the best service in Bardstown of the three. Other reports are on the money however, Inside your home you get one bar or none. Outside you get maybe two or three. North side of town mostly. The coverage is spotty however, as moving down street toward hwy 150 about 3 miles north of town the signal goes from 4 bars to none. So you might be lucky and your house may be in a good location. The main thing about Sprint is that they now offer free roaming on digital or analog, So after setting my phone properly, I can get coverage just about any where I go around town.

If you place the call outside of your home or building, you OK reception but inside it usually loses reception or doesn't get one at all. Sprint PCS works fine as you stay close to major highways (I-65, BlueGrass Pkwy, etc.) but once you leave it becomes spotty south of Jefferson and Fayette Counties.

Bardstown and Louisville, KY, Bardstown, KY 40004 |

Bardstown reception is fine when not in buildings. Buildings in Bardstown will sometimes cut your call out. Once you leave Bardstown and are not on any major highway you loose reception. Since its only digital service on this phone anywhere but I-65 / Louisville / Bardstown I loose reception. Other then coverage is limited in KY as with all companies, the quality of signal is high and clear. I am up with contract and switching to Verizon.
