Verison clipped AT&T wires off is why service is poor, AT&T is stuck until verison agrees to allow AT&T service.

Had good service until about a month ago, now nothing!

Have always had poor to no signal. New tower at Blue Lick helped some days and some it didn't but now that it's not allowed to be used by ATT so- it's bad all the time. Had some freinds drop ATT and got Sprint and they love it.

Lost AT&T cell signal at my home on 11 / 9 / 09. Up until that date, I had great reception. I called AT&T Tech Support and was told since their merger with another company they were required to turn off some of their towers. Apparently, there is not going to be any quick fix to the problem until new towers are built in the problem areas. I did manage to get 2 months of credit to my account by asking if my bill could be adjusted. I was also told at some point in the near future AT&T would have a 3G Microcell Booster available for home use to improve reception. Of course that will be an additional charge. Call AT&T and voice your complaints if you too have lost reception. If enough people complain, we may get a new tower sooner than later.

The ic502 is a hybrid phone using Sprint's network for calls and Nextel's structure for walkie-talkie. If you are in Berea, this is probably not the phone for you. Sprint coverage in Richmond however is quiet good - so I have been told. If you are in Berea, you will be better off with an IDEN phone for Nextel service.

Excellent reception in, Treemont, The Oaks, Creekside Village area. Anything east of Hwy. 21 east and Gabbardtown road service degrades rapidly.

Cinglar users in this area will often find they are on Cellular One's network. Even though Cingular's most recent tower is 1.5 air miles south east - Behind Berea Community School.

Sometimes my phone works well Sometimes my phone won't work at all Sometimes calls are dropped Sometimes I have to dial over and over BUT It is ALWAYS garbled and static filled. Cingular won't fess up to the problem either. I'll NEVER EVER GET CINGULAR AGAIN.

Excellent coverage in the Berea area up to 2-3 miles either side if I-75. Outside of that, zero coverage.

Older Motorola V60 on TDMA. 99% coverage from Berea, to Manchester on 421. A shame TDMA is soon to done away with. Advice - if you are on it and in the Berea, Mt.Vernon, Paint Lick area, stick with it.

Very poor reception in the Berea, KY area if you are on the GSM system. There is a tower at the intersection of I-75 and KY 595, but it is an older system that will not pick up the GSM phones. As usual Cingular claims to have great reception in the Berea area. They told me I needed to trun off my phone to pick up that tower. Wrong.

Had AT&T and switched to Cingular during the merger. Man that was a big mistake. For those who have AT&T don't be tricked into the switch. Cingular has there phones lock to only recieve their signal and you will get very bad reception with Cingular in this area. I am going with T-Mobile this week.

No reception in the Big Hill area at all. What a drag! Finish your conversation before you leave Berea, or it will be finished for you!
