Good phone and data when in VZ area but ZERO data between Lawrenceburg and Bowling Green (BG Pkwy. and I-65) because it's operating off Bluegrass Cellular towers. However phone signal is good throughout. Phone and data were good on my old Motorola Droid 2. VZ says the problem is with Bionic only and should be fixed with software update "coming soon".

I have had Sprint, att, t-moble, and more (carrier's names change or get acquired) - HANDS DOWN Verizon has the best coverage. I do a lot kayaking, the thing about kayaking is that there are always remote locations with most likely hills - big hills (think eastern KY or TN), and my friends that have Verizon are the only ones that have service.

I posted on August 2, 2010: "I have had AT&T for over 2 years. Over the last 6 months have had dropped calls or call failed while calling out or sending text messages. It's not my phone because I ordered an LG vu plus and it was echoing so bad I had to return it. My contract is up and am trying another carrier." Now on August 18, 2010: I switched to Sprint and coverage is perfect where I am located. I can't believe it and am very happy I switched. Very happy with the BlackBerry 9650 also. Now I can drop my home phone service.

Can make calls just about anywhere I need. In the house coverage gives about 3 bars. Sprint Doesnt need full bars to make a quality connection.

Have to travel two blocks to get a weak signal. Service has been deteriorating within last two years. I have had Verizon for more than six years. Thinking of moving to Cingular, as it had four bars on wife's Nokia in our house. T-Mobile also works on daughters phone in house.

I cannot make or receive any calls from my home (unless I go out into the yard and point the phone in a certain direction and not move at all, I might be able to answer the phone sometimes) - I hate it - To make a long distance call from my home, I have to use a phone card - and I have about 9000 roll over minutes on Cingular now - pretty sad - why have it if you can't use it - I am in the process of cancelling

Verizon Wireless has new sites in Peaks Mill, Moteray and Gratz also Perry Park, Owenton Kentucky the Black hole is covered by Verzion Wireless NOW! You will drop a call for a mile ialong the KY river between Monteray and Gratz, KY but there is a 200 ft wall of rock you go through.
