It is very rare to have problems with reception. I'd give it a 4.5 Problem is, I'm looking for a prepaid carrier and AT&T charges an arm and a leg even for that. The only choices we have are carrier who use AT&T towers: Net 10, and Tracphone do. Not sure about others. Straight Talk may also, but I've read on one site repeatedly that their customer service is beyond awful. We need a competitor in this area.

T-Mobile totally dead in this zip and surrounding areas.

Had great reception before ATT took over, now it's really bad. I'm being told we're working on towers. They're always working on something! How about finishing a little of what you start before starting something else? Now we are told we'll be getting 4G! 3G hasn't helped at all because we have no service, even 10 G is no good without service! Somebody please come to Muhl. Co and bring us some phone service. Even my land line has outdated lines and has a roar and I can't get dsl. We need some good old fashioned service.

Had recption before AT&T went to 3G in our area, now reception is horrible, used to have three to four bars at my home, now after the 3G turnover 0 to 1 bar and have to go outside to make calls and still most if not all calls are dropped.

I had 4 to 5 bars of signal consistently, then the Ice storm hit, and since then... Even thought AT&T says all towers are fixed... I do good to have any signal at all. I upgraded to the iPhone 3g three weeks before the Ice storm... so now I'm stuck with an iPhone and the iPhone plan which is useless out here. 181 from 973 to greenville... I've counted... .in 11 miles there are 9 dead spots. I'll be glad when Verizon expands their coverage to this area.

I was wondering who I would have to talk to, to see about putting a tower out on weir road in Greenville, KY. The tower can be put on my property, that is not a problem. We live 5 miles out of town and you can get no reception no where. I believe it would benefit plenty of people out this way for several several miles. Cingular's reception has always been poor here 7 miles east of Greenville. If you have a phone that has an antenna port you can pick up an extra bar with a good external antenna.
