AT&T absolutely sux! I cant remember the last time I actually hung up when the conversation was over. If I even get the call I always explain that if I hang up it means Ive lost signal. I also must find a place to place my phone down and let the signal find it so I can send a text. Im tired of walking around in my yard and standing with a coat hanger and aluminum foil attached to my phone to get signal (ok, not really but old timers should remember this). I should not have to pay to get out of my contract for such lowsy service. I have put up with it this long because I use my phone away from home and at work alot. Now tower problems close to work have caused the same issue for the last two weeks. I say again... AT&T sux! I am definately out the door and heading for Verizon! One of my kids brings his Verizon phone to my house and talks all day. Texting and downloads are a non issue. Doesn't drop calls either! It makes me want to stomp on my phone! Did I say AT&T sux?

In March 2004 I too upgraded my phone and service plan with Cingular. I was not informed about the GSM technology which needs to be upgraded on the towers, not only in our city, but throughout the region. We experience "spirts" aka flucuations in signal strength, dropping connections during a calls, also due to flucutaions in signal strength.
