Soon as the 4G phones came on, the 3G really sucked.

On a good day you can hold more than a 30-second connection. Voicemail and texts can take hours to appear on your Palm Pro device. The AirRave is about the only option that you have at the moment the works for this combination.

I get all my bars most of the time but calls are either dead air when I answer them or it drops calls in the middle. I never had this issue back in MI with AT&T. Since moving here last year I always have the issue along with several family members with I phones. It's horrible.

Dropped calls about 30% of the time. Doesn't happen when I leave Lexington and travel. Resumes when I return. Changed cases, SIM cards, factory reset, restore. My mom and dad have 4G and 3G respectively and rarely have issues in the Nashville, TN. When they travel to Lexington, their phones start to experience the same problems I do. Would anyone care to join me in a class-action lawsuit? I have made at least 12 calls to AT&T to complain to no avail.

Dropped calls all the time. I'll either try to make a call and it will fail to dial, or when I've been connected for just a couple minutes, it'll drop with "Call Failed". The other day I played phone tag back and forth with another guy using an iPhone on AT&T, where we'd talk for maybe five minutes and the call would drop.

Reception in the office is very poor. Drops call constantly on my phone and the office next door over. Frequently walk outside to make or receive cell calls and even then only 2 to 3 bars.

I usually three bars in my apartment, but it's plenty to make calls and send texts. Don't have any reception problems. I also had T-Mobile when I lived off Red Mile, on Lexington Ave, and near Morton Middle School on Tates Creek and did not had any problems at those locations.

Currently Have AT&T both data and phone service is great unless I'm' in the basement. Previously had Sprint in the same area, all the time it was going into roaming inside the house (Samsung A900).

Can't make a call in the east side of my house period. Drops calls every 4-6 minutes. Just awful

I have had absolutely no problems with ATT anywhere in Lexington for the last 3.5 years

I live off of New Circle right on Tates Creek. I get good reception everywhere I go. I use my GPS on my phone and surf the web too! When I'm in class at UK I don't have any problems either.

The worst cell phone service in the area

T-Mobile piggybacks thier cellphone reception off other carriers ; therefore, if it is heavy useage, or rain, I can't get through. Also, when people from outside the area try to call me at such times, they are known to get a message saying "all circuits are busy" or - here's my favorite - "this user has blocked you" - which isn't true at all! Unfortunately, I'm sticking / stuck with T-(Im)Mobile because A T and T is at least $30 hirer a month, with toy sized phones, Sprint slammed me when I lived in Virginia, and I have no call where Verizon would be.

No reception anywhere around the city of Lexington. Just started yesterday (1 / 20 / 09). Usually have a dead spot here at work on the corner of S. Limestone and Virginia but has worked perfectly fine until yesterday.

No reception for about 25 miles

Home is where I get the worst reception. So does my wife on another model phone. So do all my neighbors. I have been told by AT&T that they know a tower is down, but have not yet decided whether to fix it, much less when. Until then they say I can expect dropped calls, missed calls and no service at all. How's that for taking care of your customer? Looking at the map it seems like there's a huge dead spot in the southeast corner inside New Circle Road. However I know there's a tower in Lansdowne Park, and I think there's one on Tates Creek near Alumni, hidden in a church tower.

Good reception overall throughout most of the city of Lexington, KY and nearby towns. However, reception is poor or none as you head east on I-64 or south on I-75 from the city.

The last time a lived here I had an old Nokia 5165 with this same provider and it worked excellently. When I moved back, I signed up with Cingular again because of this. Wll.. Don't know whether its the phone (Samsung-X497) or the service, but it is terrible. Dropped / missed calls constantly. Low signal throughout the city. Either way, I am not getting another Samsung. and I am not staying with this provider.

When I am at my home I get very poor reception. I am in side the New Circle Rd. and virtually nothing. To have a dead zone like this in the middle of the city is not acceptable. I have dropped Sprint and I am looking for a new carrier.

Alltel service is awesome no matter if you're in a city or out in the sticks where many phones have no service at all!
