My cell phone calling is excellent, very rarely a dropped call and often find it is the other person's phone. However I listen to internet radio programs on the way to work and it goes offline (no internet, no email, etc.) on UK campus and all the way to Leestown Rd.before it reconnects. Rain seems to matter, too much electronic activity at UK? Busy time of day for people logging on?Sometimes if I reboot the iphone it reconnects after I get away from UK.

I get all my bars most of the time but calls are either dead air when I answer them or it drops calls in the middle. I never had this issue back in MI with AT&T. Since moving here last year I always have the issue along with several family members with I phones. It's horrible.

Dropped calls about 30% of the time. Doesn't happen when I leave Lexington and travel. Resumes when I return. Changed cases, SIM cards, factory reset, restore. My mom and dad have 4G and 3G respectively and rarely have issues in the Nashville, TN. When they travel to Lexington, their phones start to experience the same problems I do. Would anyone care to join me in a class-action lawsuit? I have made at least 12 calls to AT&T to complain to no avail.

Dropped calls all the time. I'll either try to make a call and it will fail to dial, or when I've been connected for just a couple minutes, it'll drop with "Call Failed". The other day I played phone tag back and forth with another guy using an iPhone on AT&T, where we'd talk for maybe five minutes and the call would drop.

Reception in the office is very poor. Drops call constantly on my phone and the office next door over. Frequently walk outside to make or receive cell calls and even then only 2 to 3 bars.

Currently Have AT&T both data and phone service is great unless I'm' in the basement. Previously had Sprint in the same area, all the time it was going into roaming inside the house (Samsung A900).

Can't make a call in the east side of my house period. Drops calls every 4-6 minutes. Just awful

No reception anywhere around the city of Lexington. Just started yesterday (1 / 20 / 09). Usually have a dead spot here at work on the corner of S. Limestone and Virginia but has worked perfectly fine until yesterday.

Home is where I get the worst reception. So does my wife on another model phone. So do all my neighbors. I have been told by AT&T that they know a tower is down, but have not yet decided whether to fix it, much less when. Until then they say I can expect dropped calls, missed calls and no service at all. How's that for taking care of your customer? Looking at the map it seems like there's a huge dead spot in the southeast corner inside New Circle Road. However I know there's a tower in Lansdowne Park, and I think there's one on Tates Creek near Alumni, hidden in a church tower.

The last time a lived here I had an old Nokia 5165 with this same provider and it worked excellently. When I moved back, I signed up with Cingular again because of this. Wll.. Don't know whether its the phone (Samsung-X497) or the service, but it is terrible. Dropped / missed calls constantly. Low signal throughout the city. Either way, I am not getting another Samsung. and I am not staying with this provider.

50% of the time when I get on the ramp to head south 75 to Richmond, I'll drop calls at the ramp, or signal strength will taper off to nothing.

never have a problem. You people can't expect a phone that you drop daily or get wet to work. Your phone is an electronic device, treat it as so. If you don't put gas in your car do you expect it to run???

For almost two years when driving N on Limestone or south on Upper my signal cuts out around fourth / fifth street. This has happened with two different phones, a Nokia and an LG. Having moved in the general area now, I find that my cell phone reception is HORRIBLE. It fluctuates from no bars to three, and never displays the G (which I guess means GSM) that it does when I have a good signal. Awful customer service. Ive called to complain countless times and they deny that there is a problem.

I get beteen 3 and 4 bars out of five on my Motorola v400. I rarely get missed calls.

Geez... .. Cingular... . Bars? Whats the point? Move 15 feet and they change. May be better, may be worse. Can you hear me now? kinda reminds me of the song... . "57 Towers and Nothing On". Yep.

I am steaming mad. I just read another posting and I am having same problems as another guy in this same area. When people call in they hear a buzz and they hang up, I show a missed call on my phone and it didnt even ring. I am in Real Estate and this ticks customers off. Also calls wont even ring but show up as a voicemail. Two days ago my phone rang "busy" for a whole afternoon and I wasnt even on it. I heard this from my customers, at least the ones I know about. The others probably called someone else. They better fix this quick or I will have to switch or go out of business!

Excellent reception... I have v3 and wife has v551 neither of us have any problems around any of the areas we are in. GO CINGULAR!

Cingular is one of the best providers here in lexington I had 3 other providers and Cingular has bin the best.

If you are changing carriers I highly recomend you not go to Cingular ever since they merged with A-T &T there service is the worst.I have been a customer with Nextel,Cingular,Sprint,A-T&t,Bellsouth and probably some I have forgot take it from me Cingular is by far the worst when you call to complain about service they always try to blame it on your phone which also sucks!Constant dropped calls,phones lock up and turn themselves off and when it is working it is very weak and scratchy not to forget that I cannot talk in my home.I hate to say it but Nextel has the best service but they are too expensive and there customer service is by far the worst they will charge you to the point of almost being a crime.What ever you do don't go to Cingular or Sprint.

Cingular service is terrible, In Lexington you can hardly get a signal, and don't even try to get one around Laurel Lake. Everyone told me how good Cingular was and after my 30 day trial it has been terrible and everyone is complaining. Now I'm stuck for 2 years. What can we do to bombard Cingular with complaints... ..?????Oh yeah and for the most bars, what a joke!
