I have a very good service, but my bff doesn't. She has drop off calls all the time. I only have them when I talk to her. She has them with everyone. We both live in London, Ky, but went through different AT&T offices, me, Manchester, Ky, her London, Ky. Hers is some office named Jubilee... .saying they are a subsidiary of AT&T. How could this be?

I live in Sublimity Springs Subdivision. I drive to Richmond,KY for work. In the town / city areas I have very good signal, and usually have decent signal in my area, but not at my house. Sometimes I get a call but the signal is so bad I end up calling them back on my home phone. There are a few spots on I-75 between London and Richmond where I always lose signal and within the last 3-4 months it seems as if it is getting worse. I heard that Verizon bought Cellular One out and are not allowing AT&T to use their towers anymore. Anyone else know if that is true? How does Verizon compare in the Laurel and surrounding counties?

I have had AT and T for 5 years and have never had reception past Jimbos grocery all the way to Manchester Kentucky. I also camp and boat on Lake Cumberland and Laurel Lake with very poor reception. While camping at Laurel lake we have no reception while in the Campground or on the Lake. I (My Family) will be switching to Verizon for better coverage. I have been with AT&T because I am very brand loyal but I must make the change.

I live right on the Clay and Laurel county line. No reception after you pass Jimbo's grocery on East 80 all the way until you get to Manchester Walmart.... This service blows out there... Don't recommend to anyone. There are dead spots all over the county as well... I drop calls every few miles. Be on the phone and look, dropped call. Then not 10 feet later I got full bars again. It's a joke.. can't believe I pay for it!

Cingular / Att used to work out in this area but now there is no reception at all within a 5 mile radius starting exactly at tony bait and tackle and ending about 5 miles out to the lake on 192. I'm canceling my service as soon as I try my friends Nextel or Sprint.

NO reception in my subdivision or my home.

Don't pick up at all inside house. Works poorly outside in one spot down the road. Only time I can use it is when I'm in town or drive out to Speedy Mart on 229.

Nextel is pretty good everywhere here. I have been getting several dropped calls in the past month. I think their rates are high and they don't have rollover. Our contract ends this month but we are planning on just staying with them on a month to month basis until something better comes up. I'd switch to Cingular if I could use it in my house but there is no service here.

Initial reception was very good with AT&T, after buy out by Cingular, reception has gradually deminished to poor. We have two phones both GSM and our phones show Cell One or USA ### more than it does Cingular. I just wonder what Cingular has done to the towers? I will definitely be comparing other carriers as soon as contract is up.

Service was fair at home until merger with AT&T, now you call it no service unless we drive to the new Bush school. Fortunately, our plan EXPIRED TODAY. Our new provider will be with Alltell !!

I have Nextel and live in London, KY. Reception is good in most areas in the county.
