One in three phone calls is dropped inside OR outside my house, even though I can ACTUALLY see the ATT cell phone tower from my driveway. Several people in my neighborhood have been complaining. Date of onset: 11 / 2011 and ongoing. Text messaging okay. Data / Internet crappy downtown. I have 9 months remaining on plan and I am going with one of those cheapy Cricket deals--reception can't be any worse and the price can only be better.

There are lots of pockets around the seminary, especially in Grinstead South housing. We have worked with AT&T for the entire year and their only answer is a web-based router that raises your electric bill and is not compatible with some Apple data ports. Hence, we have had to be happy with going outside to use our phone. We were informed that they have lost a tower, but over a year now and everyone here in housing has to use a router. It has raised people's electric bill about an average of $10 a month. It is sad that this website shows this company as providing "best" reception when we often get NO reception, and miss lots of calls and texts and messages. If you are moving to Southern Seminary housing, you may want to consider another company.

I have never been without coverage. You must update your PRL every few weeks to pick up the new towers or ehhance your signal to the old towers. You should turn your phone off once a day and it will do this automatically.

Three bars is as high as I get in the last 6 months. Not clear what AT&T is doing since all the Iphone releases but it has drastically dropped my coverage. I can text all I want, but dont even waste my time trying to hold a signal for a phone call.

NO matter where I am in the downtown area, on top of the highest building. AT&T is just terrible. I changed to them for the Iphone and regret it now. I never had any problems with Sprint in this area.

I've had this Palm for about 2 years, have never had an issue with connection. I go camping in the summer and thought it would be an issue since we'd literally be out in the middle of nowhere. I checked a couple of dead zone maps online and said there would be one in my camping area. I was quite worried until we got there and found that I had a constant 4 bars my entire trip and was able to talk to my girlfriend all the time. Never have had a dropped call from them, I've never had to worry about extra charges like I was when I had T-Mobile. I love this company!

After switching to Sprint From Verizon, I've had perfect connection, service, and am saving on my bills. Even when I travel away from home and have maybe 1 or 2 bars, the calls still come in perfect and clear.

Calls can last between 5 seconds to 2 minutes before dropped. The longest call I was ever able to make was about an hour and a half and I had to sit on the floor, while sitting completely still just to keep the service from dropping.

Signal strength has always been poor but dropped through the floor at the beginning of Dec. 2010. AT&T Tech Support told me I was only one person and that I would have to find at least 2 other people to call in and complain! WTF over? An enterprising attorney should initiate a class action suit against these thieves.

Well, it just must be that we live on a hill that we don't get service. It's more just of a valley and where right at the smack dab bottom. I can see the tower from my backyard but just can't get it one to no bars of service. Even outside it's spotty, but as soon as I go up the hill on either side boom 5 full bars of glamorous service. I used to have Verizon and I must say that I never saw my bars fluctuate. Now they just go up and down. Luckily, I got a free Airave and now love Sprint. Great data network. And when you have at least 2 bars of service the call quality is hands down the best out there. Thank goodness they have a large roaming agreement with Verizon and Alltel. Customer Service is amazing. Overall very happy

Very good signal strength basically everywhere in Jefferson County. Usually always have 4 or 5 bars and a solid 3G EVDO connection. Because Sprint uses CDMA signal I get a very good connection in doors as well. Free unlimited data roaming is also nice (with any unlimited data plan). I highly recommend Sprint if you live in the Louisville area.

I've had Verizon for almost 5 years and have always had good reception with them. I recently started working on Fort Knox and the cell service sucks! I'm lucky to get just plane voice connectivity forget about 3G! Cell signal jumps all over 1 sec no bars next 4, very unreliable!

In the 6+ years I've had an AT&T plan the only time I've had dropped calls is while travelling down I-71. The sound quality is good, no complaints. I have two complaints, AT&T appears to have one of the more expensive plans and a LOT of times I (or relatives who have AT&T) will not receive a call but then will be notified that they have a voice mail message awaiting them. This happens within the AT&T network, too. I'm looking into Verizon, but only for the cost of plans and features available.

We're very happy with Verizon (had their service for 5 yrs.) paired with the Razr phones (for 3 yrs.) - always reliable reception, etc. Previously we had Verizon / LG phones and had only fair / poor reception. Before that we had AT&T for 2 yrs. and reception, etc. was poor.
