Since March of 2012 I have little or no service on my I-wireless account, tower provider is Sprint. It either says, I am not authorized or I have dial the wrong code or phone number. If I want to make a call, have to get in my car and proceed to another zip code. Krogers sells the LG phone and others and co partners with I wireless. Probably next week I will pull the plug, if this is not taken care of, no choice. We ruled out a phone problem, it is Sprint coverage in my area or lack of.Betty Lotter

My problem was actually all over town. No matter what I could not get the Internet. It would just eventually time out. I traded the epic for the iPhone thinking it was just the phone, but it did the same thing, I called tech support and they did some kind of test and told me I wasn't getting a strong enough data signal. Even at home if we didn't have wifi we would never get online. Sprint gave me a $200 credit

I have never been without coverage. You must update your PRL every few weeks to pick up the new towers or ehhance your signal to the old towers. You should turn your phone off once a day and it will do this automatically.

I've had this Palm for about 2 years, have never had an issue with connection. I go camping in the summer and thought it would be an issue since we'd literally be out in the middle of nowhere. I checked a couple of dead zone maps online and said there would be one in my camping area. I was quite worried until we got there and found that I had a constant 4 bars my entire trip and was able to talk to my girlfriend all the time. Never have had a dropped call from them, I've never had to worry about extra charges like I was when I had T-Mobile. I love this company!

After switching to Sprint From Verizon, I've had perfect connection, service, and am saving on my bills. Even when I travel away from home and have maybe 1 or 2 bars, the calls still come in perfect and clear.

Well, it just must be that we live on a hill that we don't get service. It's more just of a valley and where right at the smack dab bottom. I can see the tower from my backyard but just can't get it one to no bars of service. Even outside it's spotty, but as soon as I go up the hill on either side boom 5 full bars of glamorous service. I used to have Verizon and I must say that I never saw my bars fluctuate. Now they just go up and down. Luckily, I got a free Airave and now love Sprint. Great data network. And when you have at least 2 bars of service the call quality is hands down the best out there. Thank goodness they have a large roaming agreement with Verizon and Alltel. Customer Service is amazing. Overall very happy

Very good signal strength basically everywhere in Jefferson County. Usually always have 4 or 5 bars and a solid 3G EVDO connection. Because Sprint uses CDMA signal I get a very good connection in doors as well. Free unlimited data roaming is also nice (with any unlimited data plan). I highly recommend Sprint if you live in the Louisville area.

I have a Palm 755 with Sprint and the reception is terrible. I have one bar and constantly have dropped calls. My wife has a Sanyo and refuses to talk to me mobile to mobile when she is at home. I was with Verizon for 14 years and it was the same deal. I have a tower a mile away but it must not be turned my way. I wish I knew which company would give me a signal so I could use my phone at home. When my wife is at Super Wal-Mart in Fern Creek forget it. When I call her the phone doesn't even ring on her end. You would think for $125 a month we could use our phones. Once I leave my neighborhood everything is OK.

My old phone (Sanyo 7300) was great and I had very little reception issues. My new phone is not the great. Signal strength flucuates a lot. It would go from full strength to no signal, and I would be standing in the same spot. For the most part, Sprint is fine. My calls are short enough that I can finish them. Sprint is great in all other major cities, though.

I have always had great reception in all of Louisville with sprint. My wife, however, has spotty coverage. She has the Sanyo PM-8200. So coverage definately goes with the phone you have. Make sure to do some research on your phone and not buy one with lots of gimmicks (mp3, video, multimedia, camera). Remember, it's a phone. Mine was lucky to be loaded with features, but is rated as one of the best signal phones that was offered. Good reception with a good phone.

Sprint seems to have somewhat coverage in most places in louisville. however, I drop calls about 75% of the time! even with full bars of service, calls can't stay connected. Using the phone outside the metro area is out of the question. Sprint has no service whenever I'm traveling outside the city. I can't wait to get out of my contract! All my friends have Verizon and they don't have the daily struggles with the phone that I do!

I have had both Verizon and Sprint PCS while living in Louisville, KY. Three years ago, when I switched to Sprint, the coverage was about the same. However, since then, the coverage in this area has improved exponentially. In addition, I travel from Louisville to Florida several times a year via Interstate. The coverage at first was spotty with a lot of roaming. Today, there coverage is complete. In addition, Sprint has the best data network in the country. With VOIP becoming more and more popular with push-to-talk technology, Sprint is poised to take over the industry lead in cellular service, especially with the merger with Nextel.

Must be in "perfect" spot to get 1 lousy line of signal. In a house, you can get receiption but will drop it within 10 minutes. It was not like this in 2002 or early 2003, but is like that in 2004.
