In a lot of areas there is no service whatsoever. Going down the hill on Springdale (into Carmeuse Lime, a.k.a Dravo) there is absolutely no service. Not even zero bars with Edge / 3G capability - for sending text messages only. Springdale Rd.is a VERY dangerous road due to all the heavy truck traffic. Just recently a major accident occured with a semi and one of the road's farming residents. I'm sure with all the landowners in this area that AT&T and / or Verizon could find someone willing to lease them land in order to build a cellular tower! Also at a family member's home, on Mason Lewis Rd.(KY-10) near the new "access road," they get poor to mediocre service at BEST. There are MANY residents in this whole area who pay full-price for cell phone usage yet have no ability to use their phones while at home. It's ridiculous!

It's hit and miss and we miss a lot. I cannot depend on my cell phone for making or receiving calls. When driving in to the hill, I don't have reception for the first few minutes or so.

Reception doesn't matter. Whenever school is not in session, it is virtually impossible to make or receive calls, or to send or receive text messages on AT&T phones in the downtown Maysville area. AT&T salespeople have told me that there are over 7,000 cellphone users attempting to access a single tower that serves the downtown Maysville area. One technician told me, though I question the validity of the information, that the tower is only capable of handling 13 telephone calls at any given time. Oversaturation of the bandwidth avaialable is obvious, and critical.

service is horrible, NDC is pretty nice though but Cellular service is bad.

phone works great as long as you are in town but signal drops quickly
