	heard many bad things about AT&T not working around Letcher County. probably will pick up in big towns like Jenkins or Whitesburg but surrounding areas, forget about it.

	apparently in Eastern KY only Verizon and Appalachian wireless rules the land. but no matter what carrier anyone has, only good reception is near big towns like Jenkins or Whitesburg. I have heard from folks saying Verizon service does work around the area. but they could be picking up reception around big towns.
