	coming from Cingular gsm I couldnt believe the difference Alltel made. coverage is EVERYWHERE! I have not been on long trips since getting this ph one, but, within a 200 mile radius of my house I have never found a place without coverage. I can use this phone everywhere, even indoors. cdma is truly better than gsm. its just a stronger signal. gsm is weak and not good in rural areas at all. i never knew having a cellphone would be this much of a pleasure. I for once am finally able to actually USE my cellphone! to anyone readiing this I truly suggest you get Alltel total freedom plan or go with a cdma provider. speaking from experiene, gsm is not all its craked up to be, especially once you venture off the interstate.
