Let me say I have ATT as my cell phone provider, and couldn't be much more disappointed. We joined ATT when they were the only provider with the iPhone because my wife had to have one. Since that time we moved from Owensboro out to the country. Our phones are useless where we live now. The whole reason we came across Sprint is we do not have access to any land based internet or GRADD. We tried the satellite and it is worthless as well. So I started trying some of the cell carriers and using their mobile broadband. Sprint by far and away kills all the other competition. I have a full signal at my house and constantly get 1.3 mbs down off their 3g service. On top of that I took the Mifi device into Owensboro and there is 4g in locations around town with speeds I clocked using OOKLA any where from 6 to 10 mbs. Needless to say I will be dropping ATT, maybe before my contract is up to go with Sprint.

I moved from Madisonville to Utica recently. I had great coverage in Madisonville on any phone I had with AT&T. But since I have moved to Utica I might as well drop my cell phone service. Most of the time I have zero bars. Sometimes I get 1 bar. I have tried several different phones and it does not help. My husband has had the same phone now for several years and most of the time it did pretty good. But within the last month he has began to have to search for a spot to stand in to make a call. You would think that AT&T would allow you to drop their service if you could barely use it in your home without charging you to end the contract. How greedy and uncaring about the customers needs can you get at&t????? Between my husband and I we are paying close to 200.00 per month for the two of us and my mothers cell. and we have to get in the car and leave sometimes to use the phones... ... ... .! I was told that AT&T would possibly provide some kind of antenna that attaches to your phone if you got 1 bar or less in your home so I called and asked about it. I should have known! Yes they have such a thing... ..but do they provide it???? No way! Fork over more money!
