Patchy weak signal improves after passing the Warix boat ramp if traveling from Hwy. 519. At this point, signal reaches 5 bars and remains at full strength for the majority of highway 801, until you reach Interstate 64. Signal then remains at a constant 5 bars.

Cingular coverage of Hwy. 519 is spotty in most places. Traveling from West Liberty, there are limited areas of signal (2-3 bars) from the junction of 772 until the Rowan County line. Afterwards, signal strength will improve slightly, but remain patchy, until you near Morehead city limits. Coverage of the Morehead area is strong (5 bars).
