I have had each iPhone since they started; the 2g, 3G, 3GS, and now the iPhone 4. The coverage has always been bad but the 4 is by far the worst! AT&T owes an apology and a refund to all of its users for denying a problem they know exists. Apple has great products and they have threatened to leave their relationship with AT&T; they need to quit talking and get away from AT&T as fast as they can! Don't buy one of these phones until that happens!

I live and work on jackson st, and I only have 2 bars at work and at home, I have to drive towards macarthur drive, or the mall area to have service. I have not noticed a change in the reception since they switched to "3G" I get complaints all the time about people calling me and it goes straight to voice mail, I also tried getting a new SIM card and it did nothing also, I will be switching service soon.

We switched over to Verizon Wireless this weekend from AT&T. AT&T has 0 service here in Dry Prong. Verizon has a great network here! 3G is nice and fast, and we all love our Motorola Droids and Droid Eris by HTC. We got 2 Motorola Droids, 2 Droid Eris by HTC, and a BlackBerry Curve 2 Smokey Purple. We are all very happy with the Customer service and voice and data coverage in the area. Some of our friends in the area are switching soon.

AT&T finnaly got 3G here, and it SUCKS! During the day I can't make calls, send texts, or use data! I am switching to Verizon Wireless tomorrow with my 4 lines. This is horrible AT&T! Get your act together!

I switched to Verizon from AT&T due to lack of 3G service and horrible service overall. I am very happy with Verizon. My whole family is about to switch over too.

I will pick up maybe 1 bar, but when I go away from my house (away from town) I will loose service. Nextel has horrible rural coverage. My work is switching to the Verizon Push To Talk to day. I will up date yall.

Sprint coverage is extemely poor, all over Cenla. Frequently I can drive right in front of their store on Jackson St. and have no signal. Definitely no coverage in rural areas like Winnfield or Ferriday.

At&T rception sucks everywhere I go in rapides parish. I have to be outside to use my phone almost anywhere I spend time here.

Coverage is fair outside, but it's like musical chairs trying to get a signal inside a building. I can't say the service is all that bad. I just wish they would do reinstate the roaming agreement they had. That's the everything fell apart for the coverage we did have.

-Occasionally- you can get a single bar of reception, but I ended up have to manually switch my phone's network selection to pick up USA30, which I 'think' is Centennial. Horrible, horrible reception. One day, having not made or gotten any calls for a few days I heard my phone beep telling me I had voicemail. I checked my phone, and found I had 7 messages. No calls, no alerts even, up till that point. DO NOT USE CINGULAR IN ALEXANDRIA, LA.

The new coverage is getting better.

Poor service from this company.

This phone does not work. It has poor reception even in town and on the highway. I've talked to Cingular with very little assistance or help.

Please help me get the type of phone service that will work in this area and nationwide.
