Reception is very unreliable; with times the way they are, people are leaving land lines behind and opting for cellphones only. Paying for two phones is not economically smart. However, when I cannot complete a call on my cellphone for no apparent reason, skies are clear, no wind... I am left wondering what would happen in an emergency situation. I would have to hope my neighbor didn't have Sprint also.

I did the research on cingular. It had the best phones and plans. We had Sprint and Centennial before. Sprint had terrible cust. service, so we changed and Centennial had great reception but their phones were expensive. Now cingular: I cannot make calls anywhere around our home. The conections move from 1 bar to none in our area. Don't like walking out to the driveway just to make a call. We will probably change back to Centennial.
