When I moved to this area in Jan. I was not planning on getting a land line. When we are in the house we cannot get any type of reception at all. If we walk outside we have very poor reception and often drop calls. It is very frustrating for us. Just like another post, I would hope that Sprint can evaluate this area to improve service.

There is usually 0 to 1 bars of reception when in this area. I live in the Shenandoah Subdivision and I cannot use my phone inside my home at all. I have to walk to the street to talk and my calls are usually dropped or the person on the other end cannot understand me. Please evaluate this area to add additional towers.

I constantly have 5 bars around LSU but the second I dial a number, it drops to 1 bar and I am CONSTANTLY dropping calls. It is completely ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with my phone as when I head back home to New Orleans I have never dropped a single call and my reception is very consistent. BR sucks.

Just got my HTC EVO, the coverage is good at LSU area, but the internet speed is not as fast as AT&T, comparing the price it is worth to have Sprint family plan for almost half of AT&T though.

It is pretty good at LSU area. I do not know about recently 3G network installed in Baton Rouge though!

People have to try to call us multiple times when we are at home, but keep getting random different messages about invalid numbers / busy netwrok / call cannot be completed / etc. Constant call dropping. We used to get great service here, but it's been awful since last fall (over 6 months). Customer service has gone downhill too. I actually got a lecture about how we "obviously don't have service issues because we use a lot of minutes" from a customer service rep! In other words she implied we were lying to try toget credit. I explained to her that we don't use a land line and advised her to look and see how many time we called the same numbers back-to-back (i.e. calls dropped). I have also had terrivle time with my PPC6700 phone and they keep replacing it with banged-up refurbs, some of which don't even work when they arrive! We're switching. I was planning to go ATT, but I see many issues here. Anyone have anyscopp on Alltel?

EVERY time I am on the cell phone driving on this S-curve, the call is dropped!

The calls start dropping while driving down Joor Rd. as you approach the light at Joor Rd. and Core Ln. (Shell Gas Station)

Sprint here is excellent; the ONLY thing I don't like are their high phone prices!! I would switch, but Cingular will NOT give me enough minutes without me mortgaging my house! HELP!!! I want the new Sanyo multimedia phone but not for 400 dollars!!

My phone gets a little reception, about three bars. It loses signal once or twice. The signal is the same same inside and outside.

Very limited reception in the front of the subdivision and none in the middle to back. May be able to get 1-2 bars if you walk to the street but never inside.
