Their service is terrible and their customer service is worse. The snide idiot in their "customer service" department said they would consider knocking $12 off my bill as their records showed that I had many calls during Katrina. She basically called me a liar when I stated that 98% of those 1-2 minute calls consisted of me saying "hello, hello, hello" over and over again, then disconnected, while the meter ran. I canned them TODAY and will never look back. Cingular sucks, and Consumer Reports agrees with me.

Have to go outside to make a call. Certain areas of town on the interstate, the phone will either drop the call or shut off.

Whole area to North and couple of block west is almost dead

I get poor reception in my house. The Broadmoor area also has VERY poor reception.

Dropped calls to weak signal outside of buildings with poor signal to no reception inside of buildings. Can't believe Nexel has such poor service in this area where you would think a lot of contractors use the walkie talkie function.

We moved here recently from another Baton Rouge area and we now have no reception

Sprint here is excellent; the ONLY thing I don't like are their high phone prices!! I would switch, but Cingular will NOT give me enough minutes without me mortgaging my house! HELP!!! I want the new Sanyo multimedia phone but not for 400 dollars!!

I cannot use my cell phone at home where I am at 90% of the time! Very disappointed with AT&T coverage in this area.

My phone gets a little reception, about three bars. It loses signal once or twice. The signal is the same same inside and outside.
