As mentioned earlier. Reception is poor to none. Why? This subdivision and area of town is where these providers should be concentrating tower efforts. There are 3 to 5 thousand LSU employees and kids in this area- a major component of our city.

Very limited reception in the front of the subdivision and none in the middle to back. May be able to get 1-2 bars if you walk to the street but never inside.

No problems with my phone, although as stated, indoors it's a bit noisy - that's when I can understand them at all. Outdoors, absolutely no problems.

I have excellent coverage on my phone. It's my main phone so im able to use it indoors at home and work. Phones are like any other electrical item, things go wrong: break, die out, etc. Cellular phone were meant to be used outdoors. On any contract that you sign with any cell company it will state they don't guarantee service inside of buildings, so if you have it, you're lucky enough to have a good phone. I was with Sprint before and constantly got dropped calls and "network busy" in and outdoors, but never with Cingular. I'm extremely happy with my service. Customer Service Reps could be better but the service is excellent.

Service is horrible in this part of town and since this is the main college living area it makes having the phone pretty much useless.

Best signal is about 2 bars in house. About 3 bars outside. About half a mile down from sibdivision, the signal goes to 3-4 bars and is usable.

Perfect signal if you can see daylight. Practically dead inside any structure. Don't plan on talking inside buildings unless your face is pressed to a window.
