Been having trouble for over year now. Never had trouble when Cingular was in charge. AT&T took over and been down hill since. Currently missing calls(phone never rings) stays with less than 3 bars for majority lafayette / broussard area. Turtle speed data loads. Dropped calls, etc. Everyday keeps getting worst. I've had over 6 different phone in last 2 years, nothing helped.

Sundown Place subdivision in Broussard--have used 3 different phones with 4-5 bar reception inside my house. The phones are: Motorola L6, Motorola ROKR E8, and an el-cheapo chinese made phone XKSSTEL X100. All get much better reception than Verizon (2-3 bars on a good day with an LG5300). Switched to AT&T for three reasons--rollover minutes, can use any unlocked GSM phone just by inserting SIM card, and coverage south of US 90 in the rural marsh areas such as Cypremort Point, Durlarge, Freshwater City (basically any area along the coast) where Verizon has NO coverage at all.
