I wish AT&T would fix their problems in Washington Parish! We still have 2g towers if that probably. We have all complained for over a year. They keep saying we are putting in 3g and it should be better. I'm not the type to pay for services i'm not getting. I'm sure they wouldn't either. Would really just like an answer or the truth if we are going to have better service or should we all switch to verision?

So very disallusioned with AT&T service. Missed calls, straight to voice mail, missed texts, texts delayed for hours at a time. So ready to switch to another provider. ARGH!

When someone calls me, it doesn't show they are calling or show a missed call. In other words, if they don't leave a message on my voicemail, I won't know that they have called. Sometimes I won't get texts or voicemails till the next day. I also have a Motorola razor and a Samsung cell phone. I have gotten a new sim card. When I use the other 2 phones, they do the same thing. Franklinton has only 1 tower that is 15 years old. We need another tower. A AT&T rep. told me with all the Iphones and other phones that use the internet, it is more than that old tower can handle. I believe in supply and demand. If there is so many people using one tower that it effects customer perfomrance, it is time to construct another one. The rep. lives locally here also and his phone is doing the same thing. People need to call AT&T and complain. Maybe that way something can be done.

I hate the fact I can not enjoy my phone. Again drop calls, when call back you may be told this is not a working Number ect. It is time for me to up grade to a 4G but why bother. Is you have little to nothing in my service area. Again shouldn't AT&T be able to let the person know what type of service a person is able to get in the area? I for one whould not get a 3G phone if I could not use it were I live. This is a unfair way to scam people. Workers at AT&T tell you we will be getting 4G service in my area. What is the time line?

I've had Cingular service here on my Blackberry for 4 yrs. and it's alway been mediocre. I just bought a Verizon Incredible for the wife and works 100%. She gave up an AT&T iPhone and says she wouldn't go back. I also have a Verizon MIFI that delivers broadband speeds at this location.

We have to walk to the pasture to get any reception at my parents house. Dad has land and even offered for a cell tower to be installed. No comment from the company. My sister has Sprint and has the same results.

Verizon has a tower about 3 miles east of Franklinton on Hwy. 10. They don't seem to be marketing heavily in Washington Parish, but the tower provides solid coverage for Verizon users in the parish. (I live in TX, but visit my parents in Wash parish. My Verizon phone works better than most SBC / Cingular / Sprint phones of relatives there.)
