Signal fluctuates with phone sitting in one place from 4 bars to no bars to a circle with a line through it. Data also switches from 3g to E to G. Wasn't always like this. Was told I should not have a problem in my location. Finally had a second level tech tell me that the switch to 3G shrinks the coverage area.

AT&T is the worst service I have ever had. We had Nextel / Sprint and had no problems but change to AT&T like a fool. Because they gave me a great deal on a bundle package and with kids I was looking to save money. Calling there customer service is a joke. Don’t even ask for a supervisor if you can understand him you'll here the same old B.S. that they are working on improving coverage in our area. It's been three years. They most work for the government. Hell, Japan had an earthquake and a tsunami and has better service then I do. I currently have 8 months left on my contract and they can take these 2 IPhones and 3 Blackberries and stick the up where the sun don’t shine, because I’m gone. AT&T the most dropped call...

Recption is unstable, sometimes I have 4 to 5 bars for a moment then I have 1 bar. I started have problems with my aircard and iPhone 4 at the same time and was told to buy a new aircard because the other one was just old and not compatible with the system any longer. This company is a joke to say the least. I pay close to $250 per month with my aircard and phone on my account. I do not feel I am getting my money's worth here. I am only 2 miles west of Hammond City Limits so why should my service be crappy?

I live 1 / 2 mile from I-12 and there is a tower at the off ramp which is only 1 / 2 mile and I lose signal from there to my house. I wish I would have never switch to AT&T from Verizon. Verizon I had full signal at my house. Using the same tower.

I used to have pretty decent reception in my home until a few months ago. The reception was so much so, that I removed long distance from my home phone and decided to make those calls on my cell. Seems that since this new 3g crap came out, I have had nothing but problems with the phone. I have done every Apple software update provided to help clear the problems; seems to only get worse! No / unreliable reception, dropped calls, emails no longer pushing, voicemail delays, you name it, I got it. I even went to the Apple store and had them give me another phone, went to AT&T to get new SIM card just last week. No remedy, no relief. AT&T needs to get this problem corrected and soon. My contract is up next month and I will definitely be going to another provider if not handled. And I work for at&t.

i live around a couple of towers and my reception still stinks. Some places there is no reception at all.

Horrible reception in my room (which is surrounded by brick walls), but excellent reception at the front of my house and outside.
