AT&T 1 Out of 5	phone reception is poor and inside of house it is even worst. AT&T needs a tower in Jeanerette bad. Missed a lot of calls because of their poor reception.

Verizon 4 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola E-815	Inside the city I have pretty good coverage. I recieve all my calls and I can make them all. My friends have cingular, which always goes straight to there voice mail, or it says all circuits are busy. You could forget about sprint, nextel, T-mobile. The only other provider I would use is Alltel since it roams off Verizon network. In this area its best to have a Tri mode phone.
