Cingular customer since 1992 hardly ever dropped calls or problems. After Katrina had some service problems which was expected due to storm damage to electrical, phone lines and towers. Then in November 2005 things took a real turn for the worse dropped calls, network failure, emergency use only, make call and no ring just ended, poor audio. Talk to tech support on numerous ocassions this was their responses, turn phone off every night, we're downloading new program to all phone every 24 hrs., we're replacing all our cell sites (That was over a year ago), explain to Cust. Service we were looking for a new cell carrier since Cingular was no longer dependable (reps. reply Sorry to see you go,bye hung up), this Sent a CLEAR SIGNAL to me and our 3 other phones on our plan, My Business as a customer was no longer appreciated or wanted. So Hello Verizon.

Fewest dropped calls, ehh? I can't even make calls in my area, and if I do, no one can ever hear me. I will be switching to Verizon or Alltel soon. Any suggestions?

Recently upgraded phones and signed a new contract because Cingular said there were no problems with their system. They blamed it on the Nokia 6230 and Motorola V600 we owned. The New V3 and L2 didn't improve my servise it is still horrible throughout Kenner. I recently found out that Cingular has 17 towers down in the metro area causing these issues. Cmon Cingular at least be honest with your customers and don't have them buy new equipment when you know the problem was really with your towers.

Within the past 3 weeks I have had numerous dropped calls. Was on the phone with the IRS Mardi Gras Day and had numerous dropped calls. Finally gave up and used my boyfriend's Boost Mobile cell phone and had not 1 dropped call. Just got off the phone with a friend and my phone dropped our conversation at least 4 times. This is really poor service. This just recently started happening within the past few months that I have noticed..February-March 2011.
