Had fair reception but reception dropped. Was told we needed to change phones so we did now the situation is worse. Called complained was told they were building 3 new towers in the area in Oct. 2010 and that by Dec all 3 new towers we would be 50 better. NOPE not true at all. Most of the time can't get any reception whether in home or even outside. Can't use the phones unless we drive 5 min toward Lafayette then we can get service. Absolutely horrible. Just resigned 2 yr contract and so wish we hadn't but we are in a signal hole as even neighbors have lots of problems. Amazing that we had better service just a year ago and now it is so freaking horrible.

Cingular continues to tumble into the toilet. At home it used to be decent, now on 80% of the days, you get a "No Service" message 50% of the time. Other areas that used to be good are the same. Cingular does not seem to be concerned and says that I am bound by the contract "which does not gauantee service". I have 3 phones, the same on all phones. Friends who come by have the same problem with Cingular. However, if they have another service they can sit in my living room and make and get calls with out a problem. Suggestion, any thing but cingular. Their adds are false.

Had great reception on my digital / analog and was forced to change to GSM. Reception became less that great. Since late July, 2005 Cingular as degraded and reception is poor to none at home and spotty in the Northern Vermilion Parish area. Cingular does not seem to be concerned.
