I have had Sprint for 6 months now, and so far am pleased with it. The area I live in does not have above average phone reception for any service, but when outside I have 4 bars of reception, and inside two bars. When I had Cingular the problem was no better, and a friend of mine who has Centennial does not have better reception either. There is a cell phone tower less than a mile from the subdivision, but it is for an analog network of some sort. I am very pleased with Sprint in both customer service and their terms / conditions so far... at least I haven't been profiled by the FBI yet like Cingluar allowed back in February. But overall if your around the Cedar Grove area, prepare to have mediocre cell phone service no matter what you have.

I've had Sprint for about 4 years now. Service is not reliable at my home, but is pretty fair in town and on I-49. Most areas in town (Natchitoches) have reception. Leaving town in any direction (Clarence, Campti, Robeline / Many, Cloutierville) that is not on I-49's direct route, makes reception non-existant if my phone is on SPRINT reception exclusively. When I know I'm not going to be in town or on I-49 I set my phone to AUTOMATIC, which allows it to roam between analog and digital towers at will. The stronger tower takes over the signal. I just have to be careful to set my phone back on SPRINT only when I am back in town to avoid incurring unnecessary roaming charges.
