The tower service is not too bad now that they sent us a cell tower to hook up to our internet so anywhere in our house we retain 5 bars. The problem is their service, I have sent this particular phone in counting waiting on the dispatch to return this droid will make 3 times. They do not even sell this model any more why? Because they are aware of it's problems. Would they switch it out for another phone?? No... .and this would be the last time they could do anything for this phone.. What does that tell you what they think about their customers??? I was told to take it up with Motorola. So I did, did they care NO! I even printed out my convo with moto. The orig. purchase of the phone will not be a year until June 2012. So if they can not do any more are they not breaking their own contract?

Here is a sad but funny---and true comment. We lived just outside DeRidder, on the South side, and had somewhat fair reception in town only dropping 3 calls to cross town. The service at our house was REALLY bad and the only way to make or receive a call was to kneel down at a North facing window with the phone DIRECTLY in the middle at the bottom of the window. ONE------sixteenth of an inch to the right or left and the phone would not work or a call would be dropped. After MANY, MANY, MANY, calls to Sprint with complaints, going to Sprint Service Centers to have the phones checked, and getting new phones, I was informed that my house was not really in the Sprint calling area. This is after being a Sprint customer for years. I was informed that Sprint was planning to build a tower near. NEAR------ the closest SPRINT tower to Deridder or Leesville is not where a person of sound mind would think it would be---in one of the two towns. I have just moved to Pitkin, La. and of course other phones work but not Sprint. So--- Now I pay for a service and I have to leave the house to use it.
