Att has no coverage in grant Parish along hwy 71 and 167. I cant believe AT&T is the only cell company that thinks its a good idea to leave such a large area dead. Well be on Verizon as soon as contract is up.

The phone may work if I am outside. I turn it off as soon as I get home to avoid dropped calls.

Had ATT for 3 years in FL before 03 / 09 move to Pollock, LA. No problems in FL but virtually no reception at new home. ATT first said reception at my location should be 2-3 bars according to their service map. However, it was / is almost always 0 bars. Then ATT said problem was older chip in my phone. Upgraded chip. Still 0 bars. Looks like I am going to have to switch from ATT. Hate to do it because I wanted to upgrade to an Iphone which is only available from ATT.

Reception use to be quite well. In October of 2006, Cingular lost it's contract with local towers. Reception dropped off. In December I received a letter from Cingular that they are DROPPING me as a customer (4 lines, over 3 yrs) because 50% of my calls are off of their network. Does not seem fair for them to do this. I have to buy 4 new phones, activation fees, ring tones and games downloaded are gone! DO NOT get Cingular in this area.
