I've had T-Mobile for 2 months now and I have a 4g phone and have never had more than 1g service.

I've had AT&T service in New Orleans and Thibodaux. There is never a week that goes by that I do not have to redial numbers I was just dialing but somehow ended up on the main screen as if I had never started calling someone in the first place! In New Orleans, called constantly dropped, and sometimes I had to dial a number three times to get the call through. The model phone I have is now malfunctioning, starting at about 14 moths old -I'm paying for the contract termination just to keep from too many prescription drugs.

I have been with Alltel for about 2 years now. My reception is perfect. I even catch signle in the stores. I catch it inside my house also. I am for sure going to stay with Alltel!

Since Hurricane Katrina affected New Orleans with flooding, it seems Cingular wireless' system is still in shambles..God forbid you have a GSM phone. I have old TDMA / Analog phone and lately been getting dropped calls as phone switches from digital to analog or goes to Cingular roaming (extended). Friends with GSM phones, when the digital goes out is out of luck until the system comes back up. You think Cingular would have fixed the problems by now since this is an area that hardly saw winds from the hurricanes..but friends are leaving for other services in droves due to it... .
