	Horrible service, call drops constantly, other carriers aren't any better, I'm told Verizon has the best service in the area.

	used to be bad, now service is spotty (sometimes signal is good but calls don't go through) and don't get voicemail notice until next day or later

	I started with a Samsung phone, it had terrible reception. Upon visiting a Sprint store I found out that the Samsung phones have below average sensitivity, while the Sanyo phones have above average sensitivity. Belair is actually outside of the Sprint coverage map, but my Sanyo phone still works fine even inside my home. Thus, do not always blame poor reception on the carrier!

	Reception non-existant once in the neighborhood. Useless indoors or outdoors at home.

	Update to Feb. '10 comment: Reception much improved in this area on same phone (and another Verizon phone). Maybe due to cell tower adjustments, poss. requirements for oil leak activities at nearby Rigolets. Otherwise good to excellent reception in Slidell to N.O. areas with only occasional dropped calls.

	The further away from Hwy. 190E, the worse the reception. Reception was also poor with a Nokia brand phone. Sometimes med. reception, sometimes dropped calls, sometimes no reception.
