I have good reception where I live. Never had any problems in other areas of Thibodaux while moving around, but family that I talk to on the network in Morgan City get dropped all the time.

I get great reception with my phone. I never get my calls dropped, unless the other person has no service. This area of Thibodaux has great reception... maybe it's my phone?

I work in Houma and I'm frequently on the road throughout Houma, Raceland, Dulac, Dularge, and Amelia. Phone seems to work fine every where except at my house on Manchester Manor. This problem started after Hurricanne Katrina. Alltel seems to not care enough to do anything about the problem. Customer service is not what it should be. I feel cheated. Something physical had to happen to one of the cellular towers for it not to work since the hurricanne and no one at Alltel is doing anything about it.

Constant dropping of calls even though the phone shows a good signal strength. After many, many reports of the problem to Cingular stores in the area with no resolution of the problem, I cannot wait to get out of my contract. I definitely would not recommend Cingular service in this area of Louisiana.

Absolutly terrible. Have to go outside to use the phone, and even then most calls cut out after about two minutes. The Sprint store claimed that there was nothing wrong with the phone but told me I should still buy a new one with a two year contract. No thanks.

Sucks! Whenever I place a call, bar go to 0. If I'm lucky enough to get through, can't hear the person or call gets dropped after HELLO. Cingular says they have no trouble with their service - says it must be our phones. YEA, RIGHT! I'm looking into other options!
