Overall the quality of coverage on campus depends on where one is at the time. For the most part being outdoors the signal strength for both EV, an 1x being near maxed. The problem arise when ones is using a phone inside the buildings. Reception can vary greatly inside. Not sure if this is because of interference due to Wi-Fi / other electronics signals or the signal is not able to penetrate into the buildings.

Reception is usually good to very good, between 2-4 bars on my phone. The only problem is for some reason we do get a lot of dropped calls especially at night. There are 3 of us in all using using Verizon and experience the same issue.

Travel Route 9 between Amherst and Belchertown and find only spotty reception. In Amherst, relatively good except for RR underpass just below Amherst College. In Belchertown-good reception, but only in Rt. 9 / 202 intersection.

Coverage in Amherst, Sunderland, and most of Hadley is very good. South Hadley, Deerfield, Belchertown and Pelham can be spotty in places. Dr.Rt 202 between Belchertown and Rt 2 and you get no signal at all.

In the school the reception is bad, as it is for all the other carriers but around Amherst it is great.
